Note: Most standard (recent) ATi GPUs are 9"(21cm)long (or shorter in case of 4550 ect) and should fit in all ATX or most ATX derivative cases(Such as MATX, does not include UATX). Special GPUs such as the 4870X2 are longer at 10.5" (26cm)

Nvidia GPUs such as the 9800GT, 9600GT and 9600GSO are 9"(21cm)long whereas the 9800GTX(+), 9800GX2, GTX260 and GTX280 are 10.5"(26cm)long. All other recent Nvidia GPUs such as the 9500GT are 9" or smaller.

These are all only from reference design, you may find cards that are shorter(Such as the 3870x2 by Powercolor) or longer(unlikely)
